It is very hard to believe that AmeriPlan as we know it began in 1992. It was when identical twin brothers Dennis and Daniel Bloom heard the cry for a value oriented discounted fee for service dental program, and moved forward to create one. The business was the outgrowth of the demand for affordable health care services. |
Once on the path to developing AmeriPlan, it became quite evident that the demand for the services AmeriPlan provided became so strong that providing quality, affordable health care became the mission. Once the dental program was established as viable and clearly marketable, Dennis and Daniel proceeded to build the business with two unique strategies. First of all, they were committed to providing real value to the consumer and proceeded to add prescription medication benefits and then vision and chiropractic benefits to the program, at no additional charge. At this point they were satisfied that they had, indeed, created a program with significant value and real benefit to a large segment of the population.
Being satisfied that they had the right product they now set forth to develop the most efficient and effective system for bringing this much needed service to the greatest number of people in the shortest possible time. Through much research, trial and error and perseverance, it was determined that the objectives could best be met by implementing a unique marketing strategy. This was done and the results have been incredibly successful.
AmeriPlan Corporation under the capable guidance of the Bloom Brothers and the staff of professionals that they have assembled, is now positioned as the nations' largest discounted fee for services, dental, vision, chiropractic and prescription benefits provider. This organization will provide a stable platform from which to grow. It is anticipated that the next few years will show AmeriPlan continuing benefits and programs that have a foundation in the past and through the implementation of new benefits and programs designed to take the organization into the next millennium.
